- Tricked by the evil sorcerer Jafar into retrieving the lamp from the Cave of Wonders, Aladdin ends up keeping it and using the genie’s magic to become a prince to win Jasmine’s heart. As Aladdin struggles to maintain his false identity, Jafar schemes to steal the lamp and take over the kingdom.
- With courage, cleverness, and help from his friends-including the Genie, a flying carpet, and a loyal monkey named Abu-Aladdin defeats Jafar, frees the Genie, and earns the Sultan’s respect. Ultimately, Aladdin learns that being true to oneself is more powerful than any magic.
