- ‘Betaz’ is a short play composed on the last few days of Bahadur Shah Zafar, the Last of the Mughals. During those days Zafar was imprisoned in a garage, cold, unhealthy and ruined in the then Burma, presently Myanmar.
- Situational and physical, psychological condition of the last ‘ Emperor’ of the Mughal dynasty was just like a beggar. Bengali, Persian, Arabic and Urdu are eventually used to establish the state of mind of the ruined Mughal, who might have been the owner of the entire Indian subcontinent. We are going to present the tragic moments of The Last of the Mughals.
