- The tales of ‘Phataru’s was a shocking explosion in the history of Bengali literature. Its language, its subject, its ground-work and most importantly its almost irrecognizable but valuable inner political messages are unique and incompetitive in contemporary time.
- The story was mainly adapted from Nabarun Bhattacharya’s ‘Phatarur Bombachak’ though some incidents also crossed the Bhattacharya’s next book ‘Kangal Malsat’ to get mixed here. Alongwith that a bomb shell has come out a Bhattacharya’s pen in the form of a poem, composed solely for the play, which adds fire in the auditorium at the end of the play, as a thunder spark.
- A bloody, nasty, destructive blow of fantacy-cum-reality should chase us from one corner to the other of the auditorium.Debesh and his ‘Phataru’s adopted the magic of flying spelling – ‘Phat Phat Sai Sai’.
