ভানু সুন্দরীর পালা

• উইলিয়াম শেক্সপিয়রের রোমিও এন্ড জুলিয়েট এর ছায়া অবলম্বনে “ভানু সুন্দরীর পালা” চাকদাহ নাট্যজনের একটি নিরীক্ষা ধর্মী প্রযোজনা। বাংলাদেশের হাজার বছরের নাট্য আঙ্গিক পালার আশ্রয়ে এই নাটকটি তৈরী করা হয়েছে। পালাকার বা বয়াতিদের নাট্য বয়ানের রীতি অনুযায়ী এই নাটকের অভিনেতা অভিনেত্রীরা অভিনয় করেছে।

• হাজার বছরের বঙ্গ পালা এই লোকজ ঐতিহ্য কে আশ্রয় করে এই নাটক বাংলাদেশের কিশোরগঞ্জ ও নেত্রকোনার আঞ্চলিক ভাষায় রচিত হয়েছে। আপনাদের সামনে বাংলার এই লোকজ আঙ্গিকে তৈরী আমাদের গীত প্রধান এই নাটক কে তুলে ধরতে চাকদাহ- নাট্যজনের কর্মীরা পরিশ্রম করেছে টানা তিন মাস। চিন্তা, চেতনায়, ঐতিহ্য ও সাংস্কৃতিক ভাবনায় এপার বাংলা ও ওপার বাংলার বাঁশি একই সুরে বেজে যাচ্ছে অনাদিকাল থেকে। মাঝখানের একটি তারকাটার বেড়ায় সেই দুই বাংলার এই অনাদিকাল থেকে বেজে যাওয়া মোহনবাঁশির একই রকম সুরের কোনো ছন্দপতন ঘটাতে পারেনি। আর তা কোনোদিনের পারবেও না। বঙ্গমায়ের দুই সন্তানের কাছে জননী যে একজন। তা হলো বাংলা…..

ভয়

• “Bhoy” is a story of Panchatantra by Vishnu Sharma from which we get a good lesson that a work which cannot be solved by force can be solved by intelligence. This is the story of the crow and the snake. Like the name of this play, the central point of the story is fear.

• If there’s one emotion we all commonly share today, it’s fear. Fear is an emotion that has consumed us so much that recently it has prevented us from making any decision. Standing in stark contrast to that fear, there is President Award winner Gunakar Dev Goswami, who came to Bengal for the first time to create this story from Assam, combining several folk music theater forms like Ojapali, Ankiya Naat, etc., which is basically based on physical expression and live music.

• This one hour long drama, almost without dialogue, presents the socio-economic and political conditions of a society based on the struggle between the crow and the snake. This story teaches us how a person who is supposedly oppressed by society can win any war and even lead society to a better and brighter future by overcoming his fear.
