Great changes take place in the outer world. Rise and fall of political and social power in the society always keep an impact in our daily life, ordinary living, and relationships. Though power may come, power may go but the feeling of sorrow and love in personal relationship are eternal.
The journey of almost 40 years revolves around the little Gopi and his Jyathamshai in this play. With the progress of time, they change, their surroundings also change. So the story is not limited between the personal narrative of uncle and nephew. So, this play is a canvas where the socio -cultural evolution of Bengal and Bengali people of contemporary times has been portrayed theatrically.
Gopi’s 90 plus aged uncle has been locked from inside the washroom since half an hour at midnight and not responding. Gopi has been trying to rescue him, but not getting any way out. He had been trying anticipating that what would he do if anything fatal happens with his uncle. During this time Gopi was trying to recall his memories and Journeys from chilhood to middle age with his uncle. This play reopen the door of our past and spectators feel nostalgic.
