Countless feelings accumulate within the heart, turning into ice. To the outside world, giving voice to them is seen as audacity. So out of fear, hesitation, or shame, these emotions are born within the chest, grow there, and eventually die—turning into fossils.
This play gives birth to such feelings, through words.
The incidents we read daily in the morning newspaper with a cup of tea come together and take form. They form friendships, learn to walk hand in hand, and then gather courage to start running. In their hands burns the torch of civilization; in their hearts, conviction.
Every scene in this play ‘ Kothara’ is familiar to you. These are not just words, in fact, the expression of your many unspoken truths.
It is not a story, but a collage of many stories.
