Kurukshetra is a play that weaves together the stories of women from different eras and regions, united by their experiences of loss and suffering in war. Set against the backdrop of the epic Mahabharata, the play brings together characters from 1945 Germany, 1971 Bangladesh, Gaza, and Ukraine, who converge in a desolate, timeless space. Through their poignant narratives, the play exposes the senseless brutality and inhumanity of war, as they grapple with the devastating consequences of conflict. Ultimately, the women pose a
haunting question to society: what does the future hold?
