- It is a hilarious and farcical exploration of hypocrisy and marital infidelity. The play’s central premise revolves around a burglar who finds himself in an absurd and increasingly complicated situation.
- The story begins with a burglar breaking into an apartment. However, his plans for a simple robbery are immediately complicated when he discovers he’s not alone, but to face with two sets of cheating partners. He is forced to act as a go-between and a peacemaker, attempting to keep the multiple affairs a secret from the husband.
- The play’s humour comes from the burglar’s moral dilemma and his attempts to navigate the tangled web of lies. He is an outsider who, by a strange twist of fate, becomes the moral compass of the household, even as he is committing a crime.
