• Mohit Chattopadhyay, a poet turned playwright, is one of the greatest thespian of post-modern Indian Theatre. His searches for the good inside a human being and a the wonderful world around.. reveal in most of his 150 plays. NONAJOL is a play of that genre. It is a story of a middle class family with clashes and crisis between values and vulnerability of poverty… a retired man with his unemployed sons & daughter struggles to survive , but with gladness and glory for honesty. One of his son leaves house in search of job , another son desparately wants to grab some easy money through an illegal deed being trapped in a conspiracy with his old collegemate. But ultimately  when it happens, the family strongly oppose and the boy realises his immorality and  degradation. He revolts and faces his criminal companion. And now we have to see, whether the good and the right soul inside them wins Or not.. before the curtain falls ?
