- Friends please join us for Mukhomukhi’s new play PRATARANA /প্রতারণা … Adapted by Shri Soumitra Chatterjee from Harold Pinters Betrayal this play is famously told in reverse chronological order (2006 to 1997), detailing a seven-year extramarital affair between Pola, her husband Arindam, and his close friend Rajat.
- It explores themes of deceit, memory, and the erosion of intimacy, highlighting how all three characters betray one another through silence, affairs, and hidden truths. The cast includes Sudip Mukherjee, Padmanabha Dasgupta and myself. Costume, music and direction by yours truly
