SAMA — A Confluence of Indian Classical Dance
Sama means equality.
- A meeting point where rhythm, discipline, and devotion breathe as one.
Born from a shared journey by Arnab and Rajdeep, Sama began with learning — growing within the same tradition, shaped by the same rigour, and guided by the same reverence for classical dance.
- This year, Sama blossoms into a deeper dialogue through collaboration — bringing together Odissi, Bharatanatyam, and Kathak.
- From the East, the South, and the North of India, three classical voices come together — not to compete, but to converse.
- Though each form carries its own grammar, costume, and movement, their soul remains the same — divinity, surrender, and devotion.
- Through pure nritta and expressive abhinaya, the performance gradually flows toward a shared space where identities soften, forms merge, and what remains is simply — Indian Classical Dance.
- Sama does not break boundaries.
It expands them — with respect, humility, and harmony.
Three dancers.
Three traditions.
One shared spirit.
SAMA — where equality finds rhythm
