“Taramoyee Anger Management School” is a political satire that explores the emotional instability of contemporary society through fragmented situations, symbolic characters and layered performances. The production creates a theatrical world where humour and discomfort exist side by side, reflecting how anger, confusion, frustration and emotional fatigue have increasingly become part of everyday life.
The story unfolds inside an unusual anger management institution, where three individuals arrive seeking counselling for their emotional struggles. As they interact with the receptionist and eventually with the counsellor, their personal frustrations, suppressed emotions and hidden realities gradually begin to surface.
What begins as an apparently ordinary counselling session slowly transforms into a deeper exploration of identity, social conditioning, political uncertainty, economic pressure and emotional survival. Through dark humour, satire and intense conversations, the play examines the psychological and social roots of modern anger.
As the play progresses, the tone gradually shifts from the humorous and exaggerated to the deeply serious and realistic. By the end, the individual stories begin to reflect the collective frustration of ordinary people trapped within political unrest, economic pressure and social disruption.
Without directly preaching, “Taramoyee Anger Management School” holds up a mirror to a generation attempting to survive within systems increasingly defined by chaos, noise, conflict and emotional exhaustion.
