- After the violent clash of her two brothers over the throne of Thebes leaves both dead, King Creon proclaims one a traitor and denies him the dignity of burial.
- Defying the decree, Antigone chooses conscience over compliance, love over law. Her act of resistance leads to her condemnation—entombed alive in a cave to starve. The tragedy spirals as her fiancé, Creon’s son, and later Queen Eurydice, take their own lives, leaving Creon stranded in the desolation of his authority.
- Featuring Debshankar Haldar and Turna Das, this stark and emotionally charged production confronts the eternal conflict between state power and individual morality — asking, in the end, what remains when power outlives love.
