Ashu Bhattacharjee the protagonist is a professor in a college almost on the verge of his retirement..at this juncture in his life he is offered a new role, that of a politician.
Ashu babu, who was overwhelmed with the turn of events, finally chose his noble intent of serving people over his dilemma, uncertainty about the whole situation and his voters returned the favour by electing him their represtative.
Thus Ashu babu begun his career as a politician wanting to work for the people, eliminate corruption..but things are not going to be that easy, are they? There’s also a hierarchy he has to serve !
Ashu babu faces questions, has to take decisions, has to chose between evil and lesser evil at every point..what does he do? Does he choose between the binary or look beyond them to find answers?
