• Sir Sir Sarla, a classic Hindi drama running successfully for over a decade. This classic tells us the story of a poetry teacher, Professor Palekar, a poetry teacher and his two most beloved students, the pretty Sarla and the seemingly unimpressive Phanidhar. Flitting between the past, when they were his students and present, four years after they’ve graduated, the play traces their lives, which remain interwoven, even though time has moved on.
• Sarla’s memory manifests itself into reality. Phanidhar and Sir are caught in a tornado of emotions.
• It deals with characters’ individual conflict, first suppressing and then letting it out – sometimes calmly , and sometimes vehemently. As the story unfolds , the unmentionable is said and then dealt with ;hurtful accusations are made, life altering decisions are contemplated and then re- considered

• After the demise of their father, Basanti and her younger sister Gouri are forced to carry corpses from Patharpratima police station to the morgue on the outskirts of the city to make ends meet. On one such night these two women an injured Latu Parbat who is absconding from the police. Latu, a graduate degree holder without a job became one of the most wanted criminals after he was imprisoned for his master’s fault. A spokesperson of the proletariat Latu plans to burn off the factory owned by the bourgeois Seths, the same people who had exploited Basanti’s family crippling her mother Bhanumati. So Latu finds a safe haven in their family. However, though both Basanti and Latu belonged to the poorest sections of society, they had high hopes. They dreamt of building a life together where they could teach other people like them and uplift their social positions. Do their dreams come true? Does society allow these two marginal figures to transform their dream to reality?

• Binodini opera is a music-based drama written and directed by Abanti Chakraborty, with Shibashis Bandopadhyay as Co-Writer and Rudroroop Mukhopadhyay playing the role of a dramaturg.
• This ensemble cast based theatre revolves around the life and chronicles of Nati Binodini Dasi, the prima donna of Bengali Theatre of 18th Century. Binodini Dasi, coming from the so-called prohibited quarters of a harlot’s bed, had risen to be the star of theatre by sheer practice, perseverance, and penance. Guided by her Guru Girish Ghosh, she had left no stones unturned to have a theatre for the p ublic. Debauched and denuded by her male counterparts, she silently left the stage at the zenith of her career.
• The theatre embodies an ensemble cast with the historical presence of Girish Ghosh,Amritalal Basu,Gurmuk Roy,Kumar Bahadur,Rangababu and a plethora of the then who’s who of Bengali theatre. The theatre attempts to question the patriarchal hierarchy of contemporary times through a narrative of songs and expository performances. Interestingly,enough, the presence of patriarchy has not much mired with time.

“আজ মধুসূদন মঞ্চে শিশিক্ষু র ” তেজ ” নাটকটি দেখলাম, পার্থ মুখোপাধ্যায় এর নির্দেশনায়। এটি দ্বিতীয় শো। এতো মুগ্ধ ও আবেগী হয়ে পড়েছিলাম সারা নাটক টা দেখতে দেখতে – বার বার চোখে জল এসে যাচ্ছিল। এতো পরিচ্ছন্নতা প্রোযোজনার সারা অঙ্গে , আমাকে নির্বাক করে রেখেছিল। কতো গভীরতা থাকলে, বোধ ও মনন থাকলে এমন সুচারু প্রযোজনা করা যেতে পারে। যারা মূলত বাচিক শিল্পী বা শিক্ষা নবিশি – তাদের অভিনয় শিখিয়ে এ এক অনন্য সাধারণ কাাজ। পার্থকে কুর্ণিস জানাই। আর সকলকে বলছি যদি সুযোগ হয় নাটক টা দেখে নিতে।
এখন আমি বাড়ির পথে। টাটকা লিখতে লোভ সামলাতে পারলাম না। জয় হোক ” তেজ ” এর।”

• Ashu Bhattacharjee the protagonist is a professor in a college almost on the verge of his retirement..at this juncture in his life he is offered a new role, that of a politician.
• Ashu babu, who was overwhelmed with the turn of events, finally chose his noble intent of serving people over his dilemma, uncertainty about the whole situation and his voters returned the favour by electing him their represtative.

• The immortal characters of Gupi Gayne and Bagha Bayne, created by Upendrakishore Roychowdhury was given life in celluloid from the books. We in our newest production aim to visit the present socio-economic-political scenario of the country through the eyes of Gupi-Bagha. 
• A nation is built by its farmers, labours and teachers. SATYABACHAN, speaks their word, tell their stories. The farmer is burdened with loans and policies of the government. The workman is troubled with the double standards of the union and the business owners. The teacher has a sarcastic view towards the entire education system and the intentions of the society to remain oblivious.
• On the other side of the world, the thoughts of the city dwellers are jeopardised in keeping balance between the fast moving socio-cultural-political environment. People are not ready to give time and space to their relations and thoughts. The neo-sci-fi generation is also falling victim to superstitions and prejudice.
• Gupi-Bagha along with the Teacher faces the Government aka “Sarkar”, directly. The Sarkar is in distraught and takes resort to muscle power to arrest the protagonists.
• Gupi-Bagha prays to Bhooter Raja for a solution.  And to the respite of all, Bhooter Raja showers his blessings and life of common people fills up with bliss.

• On Bertolt Brecht’s 126th birthday, Natyaanan brings an adaptation of one of his most coveted and celebrated plays, ‘Fear and Misery of the Third Reich’.
  Also known as ‘The Private Life of the Master Race’, Brecht’s play first premiered in 1938 and is one of his earliest anti-Nazi plays.
• ‘Amader Goppo’ is inspired from Brecht’s work and depicts the current socio-political and economic scenario in the form of playlets. The play aims at raising questions against herd-mentality, oppression and facist uproar.
